It is with tremendous sadness to report the passing of Rebecca Hudson.
A member of Sleaford Cricket Club Women’s Super 8’s and 1st XI since we started in 2021, Becca was more than a teammate. She was a shining light, kind, compassionate, and always had a radiant smile that lifted everyone around her. As a committed opening batter, she embodied calm, grace, and precision, inspiring us all with her strength and determination.
She was eager to return to the game, after her deployment to the Falklands for the 2024 season, filled with hope and anticipation and we were excited for her return.
Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of Becca. Her sudden passing leaves a void that words cannot fully express.
We will all miss her dearly – her spirit, her warmth, and the pure joy she brought to the game and to our hearts.
